WHY VOTING IS IMPORTANT:
Every single day, you vote on something. You make a choice about what you eat for breakfast, what games you play at recess, and what you do in your free time. These are all votes. Every one of these decisions show what you care about. They show that you can make decisions, small and large, about what matters to you.
Voting in an election is another way to voice your values. By voting, you show the world what matters to you. You can pick candidates that have qualities you like and ideas you respect. If you want a candidate that is honest and smart because those qualities are important to you, you can vote for that candidate! Voting is a great way to have your voice heard!
